I love creating maternity portraits inspired by classical paintings. The way light falls across the body, how fabric moves, and how a small change in position can completely transform a portrait.

Pregnancy gives us beautiful possibilities to work with shape, light, and movement. I enjoy creating portraits that feel personal, whether we're working with something simple or exploring a more dramatic idea.


Fine Art Maternity Studio Portraits


In my private studio in Mountlake Terrace, I work with painterly light, carefully chosen backgrounds, and fabrics that help shape the portrait.

I prefer to keep posing simple. Sometimes a slight turn of the body, a change in the position of your hands, or the way a piece of fabric falls is all we need.

I'll guide you throughout the session, but I also like having the freedom to experiment and create something we hadn't planned.


Maternity Dresses & Client Closet


You don't need to buy a special dress for your maternity photoshoot.

My Maternity Client Closet includes dresses, draping fabrics, and selected pieces in different colors and styles. We can use them to create flowing shapes, bring in texture, or keep the portrait simple.

We'll choose clothing together before the session. You're also welcome to bring your own outfits.
