Studio Sessions in Bellevue

In a studio, I create newborn portraits that are simple, safe, and natural. I don’t do traditional, heavily posed “classic” newborn photography. Instead, I focus on portraits held in a mother’s hands, tender mommy-and-me moments, and simple solo images that highlight your baby’s delicate features. These sessions are as much about a mother’s emotions as they are about a baby’s new beginning — quiet, honest portraits that capture the bond between you. Dads and older siblings are always welcome to join, adding connection and warmth to the story.

As your baby grows, milestone sessions at 3, 6, 9, and 12 months celebrate each stage with a soft, minimal approach. With timeless wardrobe options from my Client Closet and minimal props, the focus stays on your child’s personality, presence, and connection with you.

In-Home Lifestyle Sessions

For families who prefer a natural setting, I also offer in-home newborn and baby sessions. These sessions tell your story in the place where your baby feels most comfortable. Whether it’s snuggling on the couch, rocking your baby in the nursery, or simply enjoying quiet moments together, the focus is always on emotion and connection. In-home portraits often include the whole family, creating authentic images that hold real meaning.

Outdoor Sessions on the Eastside

Outdoors, baby photography naturally leans into a mommy-and-me or family approach, with portraits focused on connection, comfort, and presence rather than posing the baby alone. I often suggest Eastside locations that bring variety and warmth:

Kirkland’s Juanita Bay Park — wooden pathways, open wetlands, and soft light for quiet, natural portraits.

Bothell Landing Park — riverside views, a charming wooden bridge, and historic houses that add character to your photos.

mommy and ME portraits

I offer studio Mommy & Me mini sessions designed to celebrate the connection between you and your child. These sessions are simple, intimate, and focused on emotion — capturing the way your baby feels in your arms, the closeness of a hug, or a quiet smile you share together.

Every Mommy & Me session includes access to my Client Closet, with a small selection of gowns and fabrics chosen to photograph beautifully. You’re also welcome to bring something of your own — the goal is for you to feel comfortable and yourself in every image.
