Fine art portrait photography for women, with a special focus on maternity, motherhood, and children, combining individuality, expression, and painterly light.
I prefer to keep posing simple and let things happen naturally. I'll guide you along the way, but I also want you to feel free to be yourself.
Sessions take place in my private studio in Mountlake Terrace, WA, or outdoors in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and surrounding areas.

In the studio, I work with painterly light and a small number of looks, focusing on fine art portraits that feel complete, images you want to live with over time.
We plan the clothing and overall direction together before the session. I like having the freedom to try different things, change the light, and sometimes create something we hadn't planned.
Outdoors, I work with natural light, the colors of the season, and the surroundings to create portraits with a different feel.

The same eye and the same painterly light, in a shorter frame.
We plan one look and one simple setup in advance, so our time together is focused on creating portraits rather than changing outfits or backgrounds.

Christmas portraits, Mother's Day sessions, and other special portrait days in my Mountlake Terrace studio.
Each project has its own setting and a limited number of dates. Some are created for families and children, others for individual portraits.

Where Sessions Take Place
My private studio in Mountlake Terrace is best suited for individual portraits, maternity, motherhood, and children.
Outdoor sessions are available in Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, and surrounding areas. For larger families, I generally recommend an outdoor setting, where we have more room to work together.
In-home sessions are also available. Feel free to ask if you'd prefer to have your portraits taken at home.

Can you help me choose what to wear?
We'll figure that out together. Before your session, we can talk about colors, fabrics, and the kind of portraits you'd like to create. You're also welcome to explore my Client Closet, with dresses and other pieces available for studio sessions.
How do I book a session?
Just send me a message with a little about what you have in mind. We'll talk about the details, choose a date, and take it from there.
Can I purchase more portraits?
Absolutely. If you fall in love with more photographs than your package includes, you can purchase additional edited portraits.
What if I need to reschedule my session?
Life happens. Just let me know as soon as you can, and we'll look at the options based on my availability.
Can I bring someone with me?
I'd rather keep the session just between us, if possible. But I understand that's not always easy to arrange. If you need to bring someone along, we can always talk about it beforehand.
